New In 2006!

We are happy to include an Ice Sculpting event in our SculptFest 2006! You will marvel at the creative artistry performed - A custom Ice Sculpture by USA Olympic Ice Sculpting tryout team member Benjamin Rand. For six years, Benjamin Rand has been creating one of a kind ice carvings across the country. Benjamin loves to design a work of art, in doing so, he was crowned the 2002 National Ice Carving Association (NICA) Collegiate Champion, and in 2005 He qualified to try out for the U.S Olympic Ice Carving Team. After residing in Telluride Benjamin has recently taken up residence in Palm Beach, FL. to perfect his talent under Master ice carver Dean Carlson. In Telluride he has carved for The Peaks Hotel, Telluride Conference Center, Allreds, and Rocky Mt. Ice. Update! Ice Sculptor Ben Rand will not be able to attend - he was selected to compete for the USA ice sculpting team for the Olympics in Italy in January 2006.
